Thomson Trees supply and deliver firewood throughout Edinburgh and the Peeblesshire area. Our wood is locally sourced and is the by-product of necessary tree work which we have undertaken.
Firewood is supplied :
- Pre-split, seasoned, dry and ready to burn
- In 2m3 loose loads
Our 2011/12 prices are as follows :
- Softwood 2m3 - £120 (VAT not chargeable)
- Hardwood 2m3 - Temporarily unavailable
Larger loads can be delivered on request.
DELIVERY
Logs can be delivered in loose loads for free in the following areas :
Bellspool, Biggar, Blyth Bridge, Broughton, Candymill, Carlops, Carnwath, Castlecraig, Cowdenburn, Dolphinton, Dunsyre, Elsrickle, Hallyne, Howgate, Macbiehill, Mountain Cross, Nine Mile Burn, Peebles, Penicuik, Romanno Bridge, Skirling, Stobo, Walston, Waterhead and West Linton.
- The logs can only be delivered to where the vehicle can be backed up to
- Logs will not be stacked unless by prior agreement
- Occasionally it may be possible to arrange a pick-up of logs from our yard. This is by prior arrangement only.
- For customers outside our free delivery areas, there will be a charge. This will be dependent on the size of load and delivery location.
- We would recommend that you leave a tarpaulin under a stone at the delivery location so we can cover the logs if it is raining.
